Can you travel horses with Mirotec VetRug on?

We recommend using the Mirotec VetRug to ‘treat’ your equine, once you arrive at your destination.

Transporting animals is a matter of personal preference. Some equines may become excited or overheated while traveling. However, some customers have found that using the Mirotec TecRug on long journeys helps their horses arrive less fatigued, more alert, and able to recover faster. They then use the VetRug before and after competitions for optimal results.

What if my horse will not like the rustling sound it makes?

Always introduce new situations and Mirotec products to your animal carefully. Take it slowly and gently, allowing the horse or pony to look and sniff the product before fitting the Mirotec. We have not received reports of animals refusing Mirotec products; however, noises may make some wary at first. By the second or third use, most animals become quite accepting and confident. Generally, you will notice that animals appear more relaxed while wearing Mirotec products.
